My cure all for back problems....let a professional do the job, go have a chiropractor check it out. If you currently have back problems it is likely that not only your lumbar spine is misalligned but you may also start to notice problems in your thorasic and cervical spine.

Numbness may be a cause of nerves.
If this happens a lot I would suggest getting it checked out.

i used to get it after sitting in the car for longer than 40 minutes. 30 minutes and i was fine, but anything over 40...

I suggest you adjust your seat man.

That happens to me as well; just doesn't take that long.

It only happens a couple days after doing deads or other heavy lower back exercises.

yes!

that was my problem too.

Whenever you start to get the numb feeing, adjust your seat back.

another thing, does your back totally piss with sweat after a while?

I used to get out of the car with a cold sweat on my lower back.
