I borrowed it off Fran a while back. (FAngel)

Nice review. I do have one suggestion. How about providing a link to where we can purchase the book(s)? For example, the Spanish version is at Amazon and I had to spend a whole whopping 3-4 minutes finding the book. Yeah, I know its not much time but I think it would be a nice addition to the review page.

For those interested, here is a link:

Supertraining (http://www.flexcart.com/members/elitefts/frames.asp?cid=93)

2 questions:

1. Has WBB given any thought to opening an affiliate store where board members can purchase the books while supporting WBB at the same time?

2. Any plans to review Facts and Fallacies (http://www.flexcart.com/members/elitefts/frames.asp?cid=93) that was also written by Mel Siff?

Hob,

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/supertraining

You can buy the book directly from Lisa, Mel's wife, at that website.

Id be willing to write a review of Facts and Fallacies for WBB if Dan and Maki are interested.

I will be doing a review of Facts and Fallacies in the near future. This is another great book!

As for an affiliate section, that is something we will be working on implementing sometime.

I have a few questions about this book.

1.) How in-depth and vast is his nutrtion section of his book? It seems to be mainly personified through his exercise related content, although I have read in a review taht he does discuss nutrition. Any thought on this?

2.) Also, supposedly he doesnt "give you the answers", he expects you to search for them on your own and find them in his book. Could someone please provide an example of this.

3.) Is this book worth purchasing?

I just realized how out-dated this thread is. I hope someone responds....

Dr Siff wasn't big on nutrition. When I visited him for a strength camp at his place he had in the course of one day, 2 glasses of milk and stick of beef jerky. He mentioned he'd go hours without eating and saw no reason to if he wasn't hungry. The book doesn't cover all that much with regards to nutrition.

2.) Also, supposedly he doesnt "give you the answers", he expects you to search for them on your own and find them in his book. Could someone please provide an example of this.

He never gave straight answers to questions. If you were looking for answers to a specific question he'd give you thoughts to go with that would allow you to lead yourself to a conclusion on a topic. The book mirrors this as well. You will not find how doing 10 sets of 3 reps is the ideal way to train for hypertrophy. He gives you information. You need to figure out how to apply it.

3.) Is this book worth purchasing?

Is the Bible worth reading?
