Anyone with experience with a supp that'll improve joint health? I've tried glucosamine sulfate, but it's expensive and doesn't seem to work. any Rx's i could ask my doc about? my elbows are killing me, but i love skull crushin'!

A good alternative is Shark cartilage. It's less expensive. It costs about 20$per bottle and lasts ~a month.

How old are you?
You can improve joint pain by making sure you eat enough fat, stay hydrated, and by stretching, to a certain extent.

I'm 17. I use an elbow pad which helps a little, but later in the workout, it hurts.

Try cod liver oil after a workout. It may reduce your joint 'stiffness'.
I take Glucosamine sulphate too. I also heard it takes a few months for the effects to 'kick in'.
Chondroitin may also be helpful.
Go to a cheap health store and buy them in bulk. It'll work out cheaper in the long run...

You say you love "skullcrushin'". I say, in my opinion, that lying skullcrushers place too much stress on the elbow joint. others may not completely agree with this.
I used to do them, but not anymore. Try the seated version of skulls. I changed to them, and aswell as seeing a dramatic improvement in my tri's, i have noticed little to no pain in my elbows doing them.
They are like seated DB extensions, only try using an EZ bar. The bar should go slightly behind your head until you get a good stretch in the tri region. Remember, use your tri's and not your shoulders to extend the bar.
Give them a go...you may like them...:)

17 is kinda young to have severe joint pain without having an injury of some sort.
Is it just your elbows bothering you?
Do they bother you after anything in particular, or all the time?
If it is just after doing skull crushers, you need to find an alternate movement - some folks find they are very painful.

Hey!
one product that is dooing quite well that I sell is called MSM with Glucosamine. It is the one joint product that I've heard goood feedback about!!!!!
Glucosamine yoou've already heard oof and incase you are unfamiliar with the MSM, it is Methylsulfonylmethane.
Sorry,I can't recall off the top of my head the exact benefits that MSM gives but I do remember reading that it helps with the process of eliminating waste products that tend to build up in an unhealthy joint.
