it's where people 'give you karma' if they like your posts or take it away if they don't.

once you get down to so much negative karma you get booted from the board.

and if you get past a certain point of positive karma you get power or authority or some ***** like that - depends what the admin decides really.

Please don't ever implement it. Over there, the idea was to give more credit to good posters, and not just the C&C spammers. Problem is, the C&C spammers are the only ones giving it to each other.

Not a good idea. It's usually used on E/N sites (an internet genre) to allow users to post news on the main page of sites.

Personally, I think it would be abused and people would vote not depending on the content of each post; but on if they like the person or not.

We have admins; there really isn't anymore power that can be given out...
