Hey everybody -
I just found this site the other day, and I've got to say it's great. I'm sure it'll be helpful.
So, yeah, about me... I'm 20 years old, originally from southern California and now a student in New York City studying Architecture and History. Good times.
I play lacrosse, so I'm not entirely new to the gym or exercise, but I hadn't actually been serious about it until last November. This summer I'm trying to stick to a program even more closely with the goal of gaining 10 pounds or so. The plan so far has been to basically eat everything in sight and get 160 grams of protein each day, lift every other day and go running in between, and keep track of the whole thing.
I'm sure that once you're used to being disciplined in these things it comes easily, but I have a hard time putting on muscle and a tendency towards laziness, so it's kind of off and on. The real trick, I've found, is trying to do this program on the cheap... I'm a college student, so naturally there isn't a lot of money to be had.
So I'm a newbie with a little experience and a goal who's willing to learn. I hope you guys can help me out here. But I'm sure it'll be good.
Rock. \m/
