Hiya guys, heres my introduction...

- Name: Mike
- Age: 22
- Gender: M
- Location: England
- Background : Im a final year degree student
- Any Interests: Cars, check out my homepage www.borabase.hostrocket.com but hopefully getting big soon

Im joining because I need your help! Ive wanted to get big since I was about 17, but have never got going on it for more than a few weeks / don't see any results so gave up. I just turned 22 and Ive had enough, want to do somthing about it. Im 6ft but only about 150lbs ish - I hate it.

My goal is pretty simply compared to some of you guys, who quite frankly are massive - very impressive. I don't want to be ripped, I don't want to be as big as I can be, I just want a heavy set, natural physique that I can feel good about myself with, be of a decent strength level and simply look good. around the 180lbs mark I am guessing?

Ive posted a thread here http://www.wannabebigforums.com/showthread.php?p=740029#post740029 asking about my diet, as before I start training I really want to gain weight - right now I won't walk into a gym, Ill look hilarious. Any help or guideance as to what I should be doing much appreciated guys.

First, welcome! Second, get to the gym!! Everyone starts some where and no one really cares what other people are doing anyway.

Yea, remember when Arnold Schwarzenegger had badly developed calves and he tried to work them out and everyone in the gym laughed at him? His calves turned pretty impressive after a few weeks of training.

Mike welcome to the group. I agree with the others if you can afford a gym now then join. I know when I started, I started at a work gym with poor equipment just because it was under-utilized and people wouldn't see me. :redfaced: 3 months later I was in a real gym and found out it really didn't matter, I could easily have been there earlier. Some will help you out when needed and the others are too intense with their own workouts to even bother with you. You'll also have the advantage of "newbie growth" and will show progress that you mean business. Have fun, dude.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I am still researching what I need to do at the moment and hopfully will get started soon - if I go to the gym and tain now, is there any point (ie do I need to gain weight first) or will I see gains?
