I have protein powder called whegg which tastes bad!!!!! I find that if I mix it with hot cappuchino it makes it taste much better. Do you think the heat will affect the powder?

The nmumber one ingredient for covering up the taste of protein powder...
a banana
Seriously. Gets hard to figger it into your diet if you're trying to cut, but it is number one in my book. Here is my protein shake(bulking)
8oz very cold water
two scoops pro performance(GNC brand) powder
one banana or five strawberries
4 oz 1% milk
4-5 ice cubes
Blend all together until all ice is crushedand the drink is thick.
it doesnt seem like much but I usually eat a half hour after the shake.
Something else I've experimented with is using about a teaspoon of sugar free jello- it is amazing what that stuff will do for flavor.

You better believe it Hulkster!
It's probably due to the fact of me being slightly more 'mature' than the majority on this board, I remember Weider's 'Heavy Weight Gainer' and '90%+ Protein' being about the only shakes available. Compared to those my gym socks are appetising!

What is it in the shakes that taste so bad? Is it the protein or maltodextrin. What am I saying I guarantee it's the protein.

The only thing that seperates my protein shake from a fatty milkshake is the scoops of delicious, sweet, smooth, creamy, sinfully dilectable ice cream.
/me slaps self.
